It's filled with quality 550-down insulation that offers an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio but doesn't leave you feeling overstuffed with excess fluff. The outer Storm-Lite 3.0-D fabric is essentially the middle of the road for Burton Storm-Lite fabric, which means you could find better vapor transfer (that breathability factor) if you paid extra. But this particular Storm-Lite fabric is excellent for snowboarding because it withstands slipping and sliding on abrasive hardpack without showing a lot of wear.
